THE INTRODUCTION
Israel stands at the helm of Bible Prophecy. Sadly, many today do not comprehend her role in Endtime events and, thereby, they do not provide the prayerful support necessary for Israel at this critical hour. Although it is said that Christians should agree on the essential doctrines and not be overly concerned with the “nonessential” doctrines, I contest that the timing of the Resurrection/Rapture of the church, i.e. Premillenial, Amillennial, post Tribulation, etc., and Israel’s future must be properly understood in order to Spiritually comprehend current events.

I SAMUEL 14:31 – “AND THEY SMOTE THE PHILISTINES THAT DAY FROM MICHMASH TO AIJALON: AND THE PEOPLE WERE VERY FAINT.”
The diagram is:
1. (Vs. 27) There are those today who, like happy Jonathan, live and fight alongside God, and whose Faith in Him leads them so far ahead on the Celestial Road that they neither hear nor heed the senseless laws that poor men holding official office in Christendom make.

Matthew 12:9-14 – “And when He was departed thence, He went into their synagogue: And, behold, there was a man who had his hand withered. And they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath days? that they might accuse Him. And He said unto them, What man shall there be among you, who shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath Day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

Matthew 1:21 – “And she shall bring forth a Son, and you shall call His Name JESUS (Saviour): for He shall save His People from their sins”.
A while back Fox News Anchor, Brit Hume, stirred up a hornet’s nest by suggesting that a particular world athlete who was caught up in a very public domestic issue, find forgiveness and restoration by “embracing Christianity.” Almost immediately the uproar started with articles being written, commentators weighing in on his comments. I was actually watching that Sunday morning when Mr. Hume made that statement, and I even commented on it during my sermon that morning.

Americans must take the time to learn what the Communitarian philosophy is all about in order to understand the agendas in modern politics and religion. Communitarian principles (which are really just a “softer” version of communism) are being taught in a number of universities in this country, both secular and Christian. A Communitarian adopts and advocates concepts such as a cooperative spirit of community, selfless commitment to community service, and the duty to work for “the common good.” The ideals of this philosophy are coming in today as a new sort-of “salvation” for the human race, a new way to solve the world’s problems and have peaceful governance on Earth.

Joshua 13:1 – “Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, You are old and stricken in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.”
This passage speaks of a time after Joshua’s initial victory in the lands of Palestine. Because of the fact that Joshua and his armies had defeated those who ruled supreme in the area, it was now left to the people of Israel to settle and possess the land that had been won for them. In a sense, this is what Jesus’ Victory at Calvary has done for Believers. His Death and Sacrifice at Calvary has made it possible for us to go in and possess the land.

Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are His Workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.”
The Message Of The Cross
The Message of the Cross is a message of Faith and Grace. One places their Faith in God’s Redemption Plan and God works supernaturally in the heart of the one who believes. In the initial Salvation experience, the Work of the Holy Spirit regenerates the individual, making them a new creation in Christ. We are not perfect by any means at this point, but we have been adequately prepared for the perfecting or maturing process.
